The Story of the Nativity as told at Manor Farm

It was an absolutely wonderful Christmas at Manor Farm this year - and we even put on an extra performance of our Nativity Play on Christmas Eve.

Go to our facebook page to see the photos, and, if you missed it, please make sure you catch it next year!

Fabulous Halloween Children's Party!

What a fabulous day it was this year. Maybe not as scary as previous years, but so much fun and lots for everyone to do. There was doll-making, cupcake decorating, toasting marshmallows over the roaring log fire, meeting the Witch of the Woods & Shadow the Protector Owl, and then off to Animal Bedtime led by a unicorn (yes, kids, it was a real unicorn!) to round off the day.

If you missed it, make sure you catch it next year - but we have so much before then to enjoy - like Tree Day later this month and, of course, our famous Christmas Nativity!

Start the day off by making witches, wizards & vampire dolls in the Red Room

Bertie & Macca get a haircut!

It was a big day for Bertie & Macca on Friday - time for their haircut. They weren't too pleased with having it done, naturally, but hopefully are pleased with the result. And they should be much more comfortable in the heat-wave summer we are going to get at Manor Farm!

Lovely Fathers' Day!

It was wonderful to see so many dads and grand-dads at Manor Farm for Father's day.  They were each given a free hot drink on us, and in Goose Woods the kids decorated a cupcake for thewm - well, that was the theory but many of the cakes didn't get as far as Dad, obviously!

AS well as all of that everyone had great fun making papier mache ladybirds and willow dragonflies and more in the Woods.

See our Facebook Page for more photos - and please give us the Thumbs Up to like us!

Bank Holiday Bonanza!
Monday 30 May:

Maybe the weather wasn't as good as April, but the entertainment and fun certainly were!

We had loads of indoor and undercover space to make the most of the Barbecue, nettle tastings, the Craft Activities using only recycled materials, and the children's sports. It was a wonderful day and thanks everyone who came - you certainly looked as thought it was worth it

See our Facebook  page for more photos - and please give us the Thumbs Up to like us!

All things floral on May Day!

Another fabulous day - weather brilliant (a bit windy perhaps) and everyone having such a good time.

Mother's Day, Mothering Sunday....
call it what you will

Whatever you call it, everyone had a great time on Sunday 3 April - lots of crafts for the family to try, from making a card and paper flowers for Mum, to decorating a cupcake - and some even lasted long enough for Mum to eat!  We are having days like this more and more frequently this year, so check out the Events Page regularly.  Don't forget most are included in the normal admission, so even better value for money!

 Storytel

Manor Farm's Got Talent!

It said "Manor Farm's Got Talent" on the programme and that was certainly the case on Sunday (27 March)

We had Pete the Storyteller back, enthralling the families, and fabulous craft activites for the whole family - making nests and masks.

And all for the usual entrance fee - we really do try to keep Manor Farm good value for money.

Lots of similar events coming up soon, so keep looking and PLEASE keep coming!

Great start to Spring!
Card making for all for Valentine's Day

ok, maybe Spring starting is being a little optimistic, but it felt good to get the Winter Woes behind us for the time being at least and see so many people at Manor Farm enjoying the sunshine and making Valentines Day cards for their loved ones.
